For All Luxury Train Journeys – Curated by Royal Rail Journeys under White Pigeon Holidays
We believe in complete transparency and peace of mind. These General Terms & Conditions apply to all luxury train journeys booked through Royal Rail Journeys. Train-specific rules are provided on each train’s dedicated pages (linked below).
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms along with the specific terms of the chosen train.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
Cancellations must be notified in writing via email. Refund deductions vary by train and notice period. Detailed cancellation slabs are listed on each train’s dedicated Terms page. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
No Show / Early Termination
In case of no-show or early termination by the guest, the entire amount is forfeited with no refund.
Operator Cancellation
In rare cases (insufficient participation or force majeure), the operator may cancel or reschedule a departure. In such situations, a full refund of the amount paid or an alternate date will be offered wherever possible.
Itinerary, Programs & Changes
What if there is a change in the itinerary or services?
While we make every effort to follow the published itinerary, occasional changes may occur due to weather, government regulations, or operational reasons. Suitable alternatives of equal or higher value will be offered wherever possible.
Programs and Timings
All programs, schedules, and off-train excursions are arranged by the respective train operator and are subject to change without prior notice. We will communicate any modifications at the earliest opportunity while striving to maintain the overall quality and spirit of your journey.

Third-Party Services
Our luxury trains operate the core journey directly, but off-train activities (sightseeing, local transport, excursions) may involve third-party providers. We are not liable for any acts, omissions, delays, or issues arising from these independent services.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the services directly provided. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury caused by third-party services, acts of God, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay, change, or cancellation resulting from events beyond our control, including natural calamities, epidemics, government restrictions, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Health & Fitness Responsibility
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to undertake the journey. We are not liable for any health-related issues that may arise before or during travel.
Travel Documents & Compliance
It is the sole responsibility of every guest to obtain and carry valid travel documents, visas (including Nepal visa where required), and any required certificates. We are not liable for denial of boarding or entry due to incomplete or invalid documentation.
General Disclaimer
All information is provided in good faith, but prices, services, and offerings are subject to change due to external factors. You agree to travel at your own risk for aspects outside our direct control.
How are disputes handled?
Any disputes arising from your booking will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
